Welcome back!

So, how was your break? Hope you managed to rest a bit 

and recharge your batteries.

Interview your neighbour by using the following questions. Don't forget give some feedback if required

1. Where did you spend your mid-term holidays ?


2. Where did you spend your best holiday ? Why did you enjoy it so much ?


3. Would you prefer to have your holiday in Sweden or abroad ? Why ?


4. Which of the following countries would you like to/not like to visit for a holiday ? Give your reasons.  a)Portugal b)Greece c)Norway d) Kenya.



5. If you had a lot of money (money no object) where would you go for a holiday ?


6. Put the following holidays in order of preference:
a) A package holiday in Ibiza.
b) A trekking (walking/hiking) holiday in the Alps.
c) An adventure holiday with camping & outdoor activities.
d) On safari in Kenya
e) A sailing holiday in the Mediterranean
f) Las Vegas
g) Inter-railing with a friend in Europe.
Why did you choose as you did?

7. What was the worst holiday you have had ? Why was it so bad ?


8. You are going on a sun/beach holiday. Give a list of things you need to take with you.



9. "Bort bra men hemma bäst". Put it into English !


We are going to  start today with some quizzes and a 

compendium. The idea is give you an introduction to the 

literature of the English-speaking world.

The question is WHY?
