ASSESSMENT, ANTHOLOGY AND OTHER ITEMS.

Pernilla will be coming to say hi to you at the lesson.

There are two things to do:

1. The assessment- please do it on paper.

For those who are absent here is an online copy of the assessment.

Then we have the anthology. Many people (Pernilla has the list) haven't sent me the anthology work. Use today to try to get it completed.

Otherwise I just want to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a great start to 2016.

Uganda presentations and grammar

We are in room 1206 today

Today there are two items on the agenda-

1. Uganda presentations

Birgitta enjoyed the presentations very much!

2. Grammar check.

Today we are going to do an exercise covering half of the grammar for this course.

The idea is that we will work with grammar during the spring and then redo the exercise (which will be a test) in May

Last chance hotel

When I lived in Africa on the edge of a small town which was in the middle of nowhere was "The Last Chance Hotel".

Today is the last chance for you to prepare for your presentations and texts for the Uganda Handbook (part 2)

On Monday Birgitta will draw lots to see who starts.

Each presentation should be about 5-8 minutes long.

They will be assessed according to the document on the blog.

If anyone has not discussed the "Courage" essay with me then you have the chance today.

All materials for your project- text, presentations or links should be sent to me on Vklass under the document heading "Uganda presentations".
